Technology is Supported
by an Advanced Capacity
for Development

By renewing the traditional Tosa papermaking technique from the point of view of chemistry, Hirose created an advanced “wetlaid papermaking technology.” That was the start of a new era of high-functionality paper.
Based on software assets accumulated through many years of research into polymer chemistry and the formations found through that research, Hirose succeeded in developing the world’s first all-new 100% synthetic fiber paper “vinylon.” Today, there is a wide range of raw materials from this, including natural fibers, various synthetic fibers, glass fibers and metal fibers. We continue to develop diverse products with various purposes and functions.
The reliable quality and advanced functionality of our products have been utilized in such fields as chemistry, industry and medicine, as well as products for daily life.

OUR PRODUCT

Hirose wetlaid nonwoven fabrics originated from the development of vinylon paper. By combining these fabrics with new materials and technical developments, they are now applied to a wide range of fields.
