- 1958
- Hirose Paper Mfg. Co., Ltd. was established to manufacture synthetic fiber paper.
Launched Papiron, Japan’s first 100% vinylon synthetic fiber paper.
- 1967
- Increased capital to 5 million yen.
Established a joint venture, Chung-Nichi Specialty Paper Co., Ltd., in Taiwan.
- 1977
- Increased capital to 12 million yen.
Developed dual-layer synthetic fiber paper.
- 1979
- Developed 100% polyester fiber paper.
- 1983
- Increased capital to 20 million yen.
Developed 100% polyolefin fiber paper.
- 1986
- Established Hidaka Plant to expand processing operations.
- 1987
- Developed ultra-lightweight 100% synthetic fiber paper (PET 5g/m²).
- 1994
- Established Techno Hirose Co., Ltd. by spinning off the former Hidaka Plant as a separate company.
- 1995
- Mr. Naotaka Hirose appointed as President.
- 2002
- Acquired ISO 9001 certification.
- 2004
- Acquired ISO 14001 certification.
- 2005
- Mr. Shigehiko Komatsu appointed as President.
- 2006
- Hirose Paper Mfg. Co., Ltd. made Fukuhara Paper Co., Ltd. its subsidiary; completed construction of its new plant.
- 2007
- Obtained patent for “Method for Producing Fine Fiber Aggregates.”
- 2010
- Renamed Fukuhara Paper Co., Ltd. to Frontier Hirose Co., Ltd.
Mr. Katsutoshi Okada appointed as President.
- 2013
- Completed construction of the Excenia Plant.
- 2018
- Mr. Shoji Okada appointed as President.
- 2019
- Established Hirose Europe GmbH in Germany.
- 2021
- Completed construction of the Nanocia Plant.
- 2024
- Opened Tokyo Office.
